About the role#
The Summer Associate Internship is a 12-week program running from May 2027 through August 2027. You will join the Member Experience Innovation team to support research, data analysis, and strategic problem-solving. This role focuses on the intersection of member experience, analytics, and enterprise transformation. You will gain hands-on experience by contributing to executive-ready recommendations and applying innovation methods to real-world business challenges.
What you'll do#
- Conduct research, data analysis, and industry benchmarking to identify emerging trends and opportunities for improving member and employee experiences.
- Support strategic initiatives by evaluating business challenges, defining success metrics, and developing data-driven recommendations.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze member journeys and contribute to solution development.
- Assist in enterprise orchestration by identifying risks, dependencies, and opportunities across complex programs.
- Create clear, executive-ready presentations and reports that translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Participate in workshops, stakeholder engagements, and strategy sessions to support decision-making.
- Apply analytical thinking and human-centered design to advance innovation objectives.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Marketing, Psychology, Industrial Engineering, or Human-Centered Design.
- Graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Teams.
- Intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn about business transformation and strategy.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Vienna, Virginia.
- The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
