About the role#
Join the Digital Payments team as a Summer Associate for a 12-week internship. You will support strategic initiatives across payment and money movement products, working alongside experienced team members to solve business problems and improve member experiences. This role offers exposure to the full lifecycle of financial technology projects, from initial discovery and planning to testing and implementation.
What you'll do#
- Support the planning and execution of Digital Payments initiatives.
- Collaborate with business, technology, operations, risk, compliance, and vendor partners.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
- Map current and future state processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, risks, and action items.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, brainstorming sessions, and solution design.
- Use data and stakeholder feedback to develop insights and recommendations.
- Support testing, operational readiness, and change management activities.
- Create dashboards, process maps, and status presentations.
- Research payment technologies and industry developments.
- Present findings and recommendations to team members and leadership.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Economics, or Finance.
- Anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Curiosity about how products, systems, and financial processes function.
- Ability to organize work, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort learning new technologies and tools.
- Ability to analyze complex information and develop practical recommendations.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work with diverse perspectives.
- Initiative to take ownership of work and propose new ideas.
