About the role#
As a Summer Associate Product Strategist/Business Analyst, you will join our team for a 12-week internship. You will work on projects that help us organize information, identify patterns, and translate insights into practical recommendations. You will receive guidance and mentorship while contributing to products and services that impact our members. This role is designed for students who are curious about technology solutions and strategic systems management.
What you'll do#
- Assess the competitive landscape of competitor products and services, including potential disruptive technologies.
- Identify opportunities to integrate AI into existing dashboards and applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to find opportunities for new or improved functionality.
- Develop recommendations for strategic initiatives based on research, data, and empirical evidence.
- Create work breakdown structures to help deliver high-level road maps or detailed action plans.
- Present proposals on your research and analysis findings to leadership.
- Participate in the day-to-day strategy, analysis, and operations of a project team.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Psychology, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with research, analysis, and data manipulation.
- Knowledge of or experience using data and analytics tools such as Power BI, Databricks, SQL, SPSS Modeler, R, Tableau, or equivalent.
- Strong strategic, critical, and analytical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in group settings.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Basic knowledge of financial services or payments is a plus.
