About the role#
As a Food & Beverage Supervisor Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in luxury dining operations at our resort. You will rotate through various service roles, including server, server assistant, food runner, and restaurant maître d’. This program provides exposure to guest service, team leadership, and overall resort operations. You will be assigned to one of our specific restaurant outlets to complete an experiential project focused on a learning objective.
What you'll do#
- Develop service knowledge and operational skills to support guests.
- Rotate through multiple service roles to understand how they work together.
- Build detailed menu knowledge to respond to guest needs.
- Act as a communication bridge between front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
- Confirm cabana reservations and support pool complex operations.
- Assist with beverage and bar operations.
- Serve in a supervisory capacity by coaching associates, delegating tasks, and supporting the team.
- Participate in management meetings to learn about resort leadership.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma.
- Current enrollment as an upperclassman or recent graduate of a bachelor’s degree program in hospitality management, restaurant management, business administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry.
- Fluency in English.
- Ability to work a full-time, consecutive 12-week schedule.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
