About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain experience in news production. You will work under supervision to learn the fundamentals of broadcast journalism and production. This is an unpaid position that does not replace or displace any current employees.
What you'll do#
- Participate in news production tasks including reporting and producing.
- Engage in a structured learning experience supervised by staff.
- Assist with daily news operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a college student in a program such as Journalism or Communications.
- Advanced skill level to handle the complex nature of news production.
- A collaborative attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Strong communication skills.
- Flexibility in your schedule.
