About the role#
Sinclair Inc. is hiring interns for the News Department at WSTM/CW6/WTVH-TV. This role is intended for students who plan to pursue a career in news. This is a paid internship supported by the New York State Broadcaster's Association.
What you'll do#
- Support the daily operations of the News Department.
- Work 10 to 20 hours each week, including some weekend shifts.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university as a student of journalism, mass communications, or a related field.
- Current registration at your institution for the semester or quarter of the internship.
- Eligibility to receive academic credit for this experience.
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- Reliable personal transportation.

- This position is based on-site in Syracuse, New York.
- The internship term operates on a rolling basis.
