About the role#
The Test Lab Engineer Co-op supports hardware development programs for HVAC and commercial system applications. You will work on-site in St. Louis, Missouri, as part of a rolling co-op program. This is a paid, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Support hardware testing on development programs for HVAC and commercial systems.
- Interface with software and hardware design engineers to define test parameters.
- Help develop hardware validation samples for internal testing and customer evaluation.
- Assist engineers and technicians with lab tasks, including the assembly and modification of electronic controls.
- Set up and perform testing on motor controls and related hardware.
- Document testing procedures and results.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a B.S. program for Electrical Engineering with Junior status.
- Familiarity with electronic test equipment like multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Hands-on skills including soldering and mechanical assembly.
- Ability to work at least 25 hours per week during business hours.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Experience collaborating with multi-functional teams.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
