    About the role#

    Northrop Grumman is seeking an Engineering Intern to join the Command and Control & Weapons Integration Division. This role is based in Huntsville, Alabama, and supports the development of systems within the defense and space manufacturing industry.

    What you'll do#

    • Perform technical planning, system integration, verification, and validation.
    • Conduct cost, risk, supportability, and effectiveness analyses.
    • Analyze systems across the entire product lifecycle, including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
    • Convert requirements into total systems solutions while managing technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
    • Execute functional and timeline analyses, trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment as a full-time student in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited college or university, with plans to remain enrolled in Fall 2027.
    • A major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Mechanical Engineering, or a related STEM field.
    • Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during the summer of 2027.
    • U.S. citizenship, which is a requirement for obtaining a U.S. Government security clearance.
    • A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
    • A current active Secret Security Clearance or higher.
