About the role#
This is a full-time internship program based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. You will work directly with investment management teams to support the public markets investment strategy of Northwestern Mutual. The program runs from June 2027 to August 2027.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the daily investment processes for one or more credit investment management teams.
- Create and present market, industry, and company outlooks.
- Build company-specific forecast models and develop investment recommendations.
- Attend meetings regarding asset class strategy, company communications, and portfolio positions.
- Complete ad-hoc projects alongside Senior Analysts, Portfolio Managers, and Traders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- A cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
- Previous work or classroom experience in Finance, Investments, or a related concentration.
- Coursework or experience in statistics and data analysis.
- Experience using Bloomberg.
