About the role#
As a civil engineering intern on the Site Design team, you will contribute to real-world land development projects. You will work alongside experienced engineers to support retail, commercial, and residential developments. This role offers hands-on experience to help you connect your academic studies with professional practice.
What you'll do#
- Assist in creating construction plans for various sites.
- Perform site layout, grading, stormwater, and utility design.
- Use AutoCAD to draft and refine project plans.
- Conduct research and write technical reports.
- Travel to job sites to observe field operations.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in civil engineering.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to solve problems and make decisions.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
