About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to work within our industrial team during the summer of 2027. You will gain hands-on experience by supporting engineers and designers on projects such as data centers, renewable natural gas plants, and public utility modernizations. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Des Moines, Iowa.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineers and designers with plan creation and design tasks using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Contribute to project production sheets by adding layout and dimension plans.
- Draw structural details and prepare title or detail sheets.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an associate degree program for structural drafting or a related field.
- Working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
