About the role#
ONEOK is seeking motivated students to join our Cyber Security team for the summer of 2026. You will work alongside experienced security professionals to gain hands-on experience protecting critical systems and safeguarding business data. This internship focuses on strengthening your technical knowledge, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills through real-world cybersecurity practices.
What you'll do#
- Assist with job shadowing and prepare reports.
- Analyze data to learn about operational, technical, and regulatory compliance.
- Help develop presentations and training materials.
- Participate in knowledge sharing with the team.
- Contribute to various administrative responsibilities.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing or have already obtained a bachelor’s degree or higher in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or Mathematics.
- Ability to take initiative and demonstrate a positive attitude with an eagerness to learn.
- Ability to apply basic arithmetic, algebra, or statistical methods.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to exchange information and instructions.
- A strong work ethic and high attention to detail.

- This is a full-time, paid internship based in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
- The role is on-site.
