About the role#
As a Deployment Strategist Intern, you will work with engineers, product designers, and other strategists to deploy software against complex problems. You will immerse yourself in customer workflows, explore data using quantitative analytics, and help turn customer goals into reality. This role requires a curious mindset and the ability to connect disparate pieces of information to create meaningful impact.
What you'll do#
- Visit customer sites to meet with analysts, understand their critical questions, and identify their primary challenges.
- Build a case for accessing relevant datasets and collaborate with Forward Deployed Engineers to integrate data into stable, extensible pipelines.
- Lead training sessions to ensure the product meets user needs and drives impact across partner operations.
- Present results and future proposals to audiences ranging from analysts to C-suite executives.
- Build and deliver product demos to new and existing customers.
- Embed with Software Engineering and Product Design teams to translate field observations into broader product offerings.
- Scope potential engagements in new industries and locations.
What you'll need#
- Active US Security clearance or the eligibility and willingness to obtain one.
- Ability to handle open-ended problems in unstructured environments.
- A capacity for being adaptive and introspective, with a willingness to learn, teach, lead, and follow.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Experience with programming, scripting, or statistical packages such as Python, R, Matlab, or SQL is a plus.
