About the role#
Pembina Pipeline Corporation is seeking a Cyber Security Identity Intern to join the Cybersecurity Operations team in Calgary. This 4-month internship provides exposure to identity and access management within the energy industry. You will work within the Information Services Unit, supporting the team in maintaining data security and improving technical processes.
What you'll do#
- Clean and improve user identity data across systems by identifying and resolving inconsistencies.
- Support automation efforts using identity management tools to streamline user access, onboarding, and offboarding.
- Assist with cybersecurity and compliance initiatives through documentation, reporting, and team collaboration.
- Perform daily tasks using tools like SAP, Microsoft Office, and Copilot/ChatGPT.
- Follow the Zero by Choice safety culture and adhere to company Life Saving Rules.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program for Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, with plans to return to school after the term.
- Basic understanding of identity and access management, cybersecurity concepts, and data or automation tools.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Reliability and a willingness to learn in a structured environment.

- Location: Calgary, Alberta.
- Term: Summer 2026 (4-month duration).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment: Full-time, paid position.
- Requirement: Must live within 100 km of Calgary and be legally able to work in Canada.
