About the role#
Pembina Pipeline Corporation is hiring a General Labour Summer Student for our Regina office. This position sits within the Transmission Pipelines Business Unit and reports to the Area Supervisor. You will help our team maintain infrastructure and support daily operations over a four-month term. This is a full-time, on-site role with a shift schedule of Monday to Thursday, 10-hour days.
What you'll do#
- Perform light site maintenance including painting, weed trimming, and warehouse cleanup.
- Conduct site rounds and inspections.
- Assist Operations and Maintenance technicians with daily tasks.
- Support administrative duties and help maintain our Operating Management System.
- Use software tools such as SAP, Microsoft Office, and Copilot/ChatGPT for daily work.
- Follow all safety protocols and contribute to an inclusive, respectful workplace.
What you'll need#
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driver abstract.
- The ability to perform moderate physical labour.
- A commitment to the full four-month term and the required work schedule.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic that aligns with our safety expectations.
- Previous experience in the oil and gas industry or with equipment like forklifts, bobcats, or weed trimmers is an asset.
- Enrollment in an Industrial Engineering program.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Regina, Saskatchewan.
- You must live within 100 km of the Regina office to be eligible.
- You must be legally able to work in Canada.
- A pre-employment background check, including a criminal record check, is required.
