About the role#
Pembina Pipeline Corporation is hiring an Admin Intern for our Grande Prairie, Alberta office. This is a 4-month, full-time summer position running from May to August 2026. You will report to the Supervisor of Field Administration and assist our local operations team with daily tasks. Candidates must live within 100 km of Grande Prairie to be considered for this on-site role.
What you'll do#
- Provide front-desk reception coverage, including greeting visitors and handling general inquiries.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and courier shipments.
- Inventory, organize, and sort physical and electronic documents.
- Support daily work activities using tools like SAP, Microsoft Office, and Copilot/ChatGPT.
- Assist with general administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, and database entries.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program with plans to return to school after the work term.
- A field of study in Business Administration or a related area that provides transferable skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Familiarity with Copilot/ChatGPT is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle confidential information with care.
- Professional communication skills for in-person, phone, and email interactions.
- A commitment to safety and the ability to work independently.
