About the role#
Pembina Pipeline Corporation is seeking a General Labour Summer Student for our Grande Prairie office. This role supports maintenance activities at field sites, the warehouse, and the office. You will report to the area supervisor within the BC-AB Gathering Operations and Maintenance team. This is a 4-month, full-time position for Summer 2026.
What you'll do#
- Perform station painting, cleaning, and general support for the office, yard, and warehouse.
- Assist field operations and maintenance staff at various facilities.
- Follow the Zero by Choice safety culture and adhere to all Life Saving Rules.
- Demonstrate company values of being safe, trustworthy, respectful, collaborative, and entrepreneurial.
- Work effectively with others to maintain an equitable and inclusive environment.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- A valid driver license with a clean abstract.
- Ability to perform moderate physical labour.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic in a structured environment.
- Availability to commit to the full 4-month term.
- Previous experience in the oil and gas industry or with equipment like forklifts, bobcats, or weed-trimmers is an asset.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing, including marijuana metabolites, and a criminal record check.
Location & details#
- Location: Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada.
- Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 7 AM to 5 PM.
- Modality: On-site.
- Residency: You must live within 100 km of Grande Prairie.
