About the role#
Performance Contracting, Inc. is hiring undergraduate students for a summer Associate Project Engineer internship. This program provides hands-on experience in the specialty construction industry through a structured checklist of activities. You will work alongside a dedicated mentor to gain insight into project management and operations. The role is full-time, paid, and requires on-site attendance.
What you'll do#
- Write detailed proposals and prepare bid analysis and review.
- Assist in the preparation of quantity take-offs.
- Learn the management process of project labor control, material handling, and job-cost analysis.
- Maintain accurate and timely project documentation and correspondence.
- Administer the corporate safety program to ensure job site safety.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate student in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Science, or a comparable field.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word.
- Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings.
- Willingness to temporarily relocate for the assignment.

- Compensation: This position is paid at $22.00 per hour and is not eligible for employer-sponsored visas.
