About the role#
This is a paid, full-time co-op position based in Reedsville, Pennsylvania. You will work on-site for a 6-month term from January to June 2027. This role focuses on supporting Operational Excellence initiatives and driving productivity through hands-on process improvements.
What you'll do#
- Support continuous improvement projects and productivity objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, engineering, quality, maintenance, supply chain, and finance.
- Identify, analyze, and implement process improvements.
- Build relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
- Facilitate problem-solving efforts and communicate change initiatives to improve operational performance.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in industrial, manufacturing, electrical, mechanical, chemical, or material engineering.
- Green belt certification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Visio, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- A basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, process mapping, and data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Effective interpersonal skills, including active listening, teamwork, and communication.
- Ability to demonstrate critical thinking, initiative, attention to detail, and professionalism.
