About the role#
This Manufacturing Co-Op position provides high school students with hands-on production experience. You will work within teams, small batch production, or flow lines to assemble and test products. This role offers exposure to manufacturing environments with the potential for future apprenticeship opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Perform final assembly, electrical testing, and packaging of various components.
- Operate hand tools and other production equipment.
- Record assembly time data and complete quality inspection forms.
- Follow ISO specifications, company procedures, and PPE requirements.
- Assist in other production areas as needed.
- Move between work centers to meet production requirements.
- Lift or move containers up to 50 pounds and push 100-pound loads on carts.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a high school junior or senior.
- At least 16 years of age by the start of the term.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to read and understand English production documentation.
