About the role#
Pivotal LLP is hiring a Co-op Student for the Winter and Summer 2027 terms. This full-time, on-site role provides hands-on training in public practice accounting. You will work directly with our team to support client engagements while receiving mentorship and one-on-one guidance.
What you'll do#
- Gain practical experience in accounting, assurance, and taxation, including bookkeeping, audits, reviews, compilations, and tax filings.
- Participate in client projects from the initial planning stages through to completion.
- Communicate professionally with both clients and internal team members.
- Travel to client offices when project requirements demand it.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in the second or third year of a business degree with an accounting major.
- A willingness to learn and take initiative.
- Experience with software such as CaseWare, Profile, Sage, QuickBooks, or QBO is an asset.

- Location: Red Deer County, Alberta.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment: Full-time, paid position.
- Terms: Winter 2027 (January 5 to April 30) with a possible extension through Summer 2027 (ending August 27).
