About the role#
The Administrative Winter Tax Intern provides operational and client-service support to the tax practice. This role offers exposure to a professional accounting environment during the winter 2027 term. You will work on-site in our Providence office.
What you'll do#
- Support the tax return workflow in a secure, paperless environment.
- Assist with the processing, preparation, and delivery of individual, fiduciary, partnership, and corporate tax returns.
- Organize, combine, and manage PDF files and tax-related documents.
- Prepare electronic filing packages, authorization forms, and client materials.
- Handle daily office operations, including answering phones and greeting visitors.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail and coordinate post-office deliveries.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least 75% of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited university.
- Good communication and computer skills.
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week.
- Availability for weekend work when necessary.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
