    About the role#

    The Plant Engineering Intern works with the Plant Manager and Maintenance Manager to improve plant efficiency and run time. You will help identify process needs to keep production levels steady and support the development of predictive and preventative maintenance programs. This is a full-time, on-site position for Summer 2027.

    What you'll do#

    • Troubleshoot and identify process needs to maintain production levels.
    • Assist in the development of predictive and preventative maintenance programs.
    • Work with the maintenance department and outside vendors to develop preventative maintenance schedules, including equipment selection and inspection frequency.
    • Collaborate with the management team to strengthen and develop plant operating procedures.
    • Compile and analyze data related to plant operations.

    What you'll need#

    • Junior or Senior-level student enrolled full-time at an accredited 4-year college or university.
    • Pursuing a degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Agricultural Engineering.
    • Ability to work a variety of shifts for a minimum of 40 hours per week.
    • Knowledge of the basics of the Microsoft Office Suite.
