About the role#
As a Construction Management Intern, you will gain hands-on experience managing real industrial construction and automation projects. You will work alongside project managers, superintendents, and field teams to learn how projects are planned, coordinated, and delivered. This is a paid, full-time summer program designed to build practical skills through mentorship and exposure to both office and field operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist project and construction managers with daily coordination and execution.
- Help prepare and maintain project records, including RFIs, submittals, change documentation, and meeting notes.
- Support project schedules and track progress metrics.
- Coordinate materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Assist with project closeout, punch-list activities, and turnover documentation.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Availability to work full-time for the duration of the summer program.
- Ability to travel to or work at project locations as required.
