About the role#
As a Supply Chain Intern, you will support the procurement and logistics activities that keep our projects and panel shop running. You will work alongside experienced professionals to help ensure the right materials reach the right project on time. This is a full-time, paid summer internship for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Create, track, and expedite purchase orders with vendors and suppliers.
- Maintain bills of material, item data, and procurement records.
- Assist with vendor quote requests, price comparisons, and lead-time follow-up.
- Support receiving, inventory counts, and material staging for pre-fabrication and field delivery.
- Reconcile packing slips, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Contribute to reporting and analysis on spend, lead times, and supplier performance.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and comfort working with data.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn in both office and warehouse settings.
- Available to work full-time for the duration of the 8 to 10 week summer program.
- Exposure to ERP or procurement systems is preferred.
- Interest in construction, manufacturing, or industrial supply chains is preferred.
