About the role#
The Afternoon Support Team plays a key part in the daily operations of the Primrose School of Long Grove. You will help maintain a clean and organized environment for students and teachers while assisting with end-of-day routines. This role is a good fit for students looking for part-time work in a school setting.
What you'll do#
- Interact with children and families as they head home at the end of the day.
- Work with the chef to clean the kitchen, manage dishes, and close the kitchen area.
- Wash, fold, and manage laundry on a daily basis.
- Assist teachers with cleaning and preparing classrooms for the following day.
- Communicate with children, parents, and staff to maintain a supportive environment.
What you'll need#
- Strong communication skills.
- A desire to learn new skills and the ability to improve with feedback.
- A genuine interest in nurturing and educating young children.
- Availability three weeknights per week from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm.
- No prior experience is required.

- Location: Long Grove, Illinois.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm, three weeknights per week.
- Compensation: 15.00 to 16.50 USD per hour.
