About the role#
Printpack is hiring a Product Development Co-op for the spring term. You will work with the Manufacturing, Engineering, and Sales teams on strategic growth platforms. This role reports to the Research Engineer and offers exposure to projects with consumer products companies in the United States.
What you'll do#
- Produce and test prototype samples.
- Provide coverage for R&D trials.
- Manage various projects.
- Develop test methods for plastic and packaging materials.
What you'll need#
- Current sophomore or junior status pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Chemical, Mechanical, Materials Science, or Packaging Engineering.
- Coursework in chemistry, polymer science, plastics processing, computer-aided design, or food science is preferred.
- Practical experience with challenging projects.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Williamsburg, Virginia.
- The term follows a rolling schedule.
- Sponsorship is not available for this role.
