About the role#
Progressive Design, Inc. offers a paid internship for Summer 2027. This role provides exposure to the heavy industrial and consulting engineering fields. You will work within a multi-discipline team to support project goals from concept through startup.
What you'll do#
- Shadow engineers across various departments to learn daily operations.
- Conduct visits to client sites.
- Perform design engineering project work.
- Collaborate with team members on technical tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current Junior status in an accredited undergraduate program.
- Pursuing a degree in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- US citizenship.
- A valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check.

- Location: Midlothian, Virginia.
- Modality: On-site.
- This is a full-time, paid position. No housing stipend is provided.
