About the role#
Providence Infrastructure Consultants offers a paid internship and co-op program for students pursuing degrees in civil, environmental, chemical, or mechanical engineering. You will work on the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater treatment projects, including pipelines, pump stations, and treatment facilities. This position is based in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, and requires an on-site presence.
What you'll do#
- Gain exposure to active design and construction projects.
- Assist with collecting planning and design data.
- Perform project design calculations.
- Support the development of drawings and technical specifications.
- Write memorandums and reports.
- Attend design and construction meetings.
- Perform construction field observations.
- Tour completed water and wastewater projects.
What you'll need#
- Junior or Senior status in an accredited 4-year Bachelor's degree program for Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.
- Ability to work in person in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.
- Availability to work on a full-time or part-time basis for 3 to 6 months.
- Developing writing and communication skills.
- Ability to clearly communicate and collaborate with others.

- Compensation: $20 to $25 per hour, depending on experience and education.
