About the role#
As an Audit Intern, you will join our Assurance practice to support audit teams with financial statement audits. This role is a full-time, paid internship based in Kansas City for the Winter 2028 term. You will gain hands-on experience with audit methodologies, learn to apply accounting standards, and contribute to client support projects.
What you'll do#
- Support audit teams during financial statement audits.
- Review and verify financial documents to ensure transparency and compliance.
- Analyze financial data to help identify trends.
- Document audit findings and processes to keep accurate records.
- Assist in the evaluation of internal controls.
- Collaborate with team members to assess risk factors.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit or completion of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- A minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
- Progress toward meeting the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam before starting full-time.
- Standing as a third-year student in a four-year program or a fourth-year student in a five-year program.
