About the role#
As an Audit Intern, you will join our Assurance practice to support financial statement audits. You will work alongside experienced auditors to gain exposure to professional methodologies and client service. This role is designed to build your foundational knowledge of financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and audit processes.
What you'll do#
- Support audit teams during financial statement audits.
- Review and verify financial documents to ensure transparency and compliance.
- Analyze and interpret financial data to help identify trends.
- Document audit processes and findings to maintain accurate records.
- Evaluate internal controls and suggest areas for improvement.
- Apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) to daily tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit or completion of a Bachelor degree in Accounting.
- An overall GPA of at least 3.0.
- Progress toward meeting educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam before starting full-time employment.
- Standing as a third-year student in a four-year program or a fourth-year student in a five-year program.
