About the role#
As an Audit Intern, you will join our Assurance practice to support financial statement audits. This role offers exposure to audit methodologies and client support initiatives. You will work within a team to provide objective assessments that help clients maintain regulatory compliance and transparency. This position is a full-time, paid internship for the Winter 2028 term.
What you'll do#
- Support audit teams in conducting financial statement audits.
- Review and verify financial documents to ensure transparency and compliance.
- Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends.
- Contribute to the evaluation of internal controls and suggest areas for improvement.
- Apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) in daily tasks.
- Document audit processes and findings to maintain organized records.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- A minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
- Ability to meet the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam before starting full-time employment.
