About the role#
As a Digital Assurance & Transparency intern, you will join our Assurance practice for the summer of 2027. You will work alongside experienced professionals to learn auditing methodologies and gain exposure to financial reporting processes. This role focuses on building your professional foundation through observation, research, and hands-on project support.
What you'll do#
- Support audit teams by executing digital assurance tasks.
- Assist in applying auditing methodologies to improve the integrity of assessments.
- Participate in the development and testing of artificial intelligence platforms for audit processes.
- Collaborate with team members to apply cloud engineering principles to audit tasks.
- Gather and analyze information to identify patterns and support decision-making.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, or Information Technology.
- You have at least a 3.0 overall GPA.
- You are typically in your third year of a four-year degree program or your fourth year of a five-year program.
- You must meet the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam or CISA licensure before starting full-time employment.

- This position is based on-site in Charlotte, North Carolina.
- This is a paid, full-time summer internship.
