    About the role#

    As a Scientific Research and Experimental Design (SR&ED) co-op, you will join our tax practice to help Canadian companies access government incentives. You will work with a team of professionals to identify eligible research activities, prepare claims, and provide insights that help businesses fund their innovation. This eight-month term offers exposure to tax research, technology, and business strategy within a collaborative environment.

    What you'll do#

    • Participate in the preparation of SR&ED claims and other incentive program submissions.
    • Provide practical solutions to optimize client returns from government incentives.
    • Attend meetings and support clients during SR&ED review engagements.
    • Complete assignments on time and within budget to meet client expectations.
    • Contribute to business development by researching and identifying new opportunities.
    • Assist in managing and delivering large projects while developing technical strategies.
    • Support the growth of your own and your team’s technical acumen.

    What you'll need#

    • Completion of at least two years of coursework in accounting or a STEM field (Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or Physics).
    • Strong client-service orientation focused on delivering high-quality, timely results.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Creative problem-solving abilities to apply SR&ED rules to specific client opportunities.
    • Experience or aptitude for supporting claim preparation and review engagements.

    • Location: Montreal, Quebec.
    • Term: Winter 2027.
    • Duration: 8 months.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • This is a paid, full-time position.
