About the role#
As a Tax Intern, you will work within our Tax practice to support teams in delivering tax advice and planning strategies. You will gain exposure to the complexities of tax consulting while learning our methodologies and contributing to client projects. This role focuses on professional development through hands-on experience, observation, and collaboration with experienced tax professionals.
What you'll do#
- Assist teams in delivering tax advice and planning strategies.
- Participate in the preparation and review of corporate tax returns and compliance documents.
- Analyze tax regulations to help optimize tax positions and minimize risks.
- Engage in international tax planning and multistate tax compliance activities.
- Conduct tax research to support consulting projects.
- Collaborate with team members to develop tax models and structures for clients.
- Contribute to the preparation of tax provisions and audits to validate compliance.
- Use data analytics to identify opportunities for tax optimization and efficiency.
- Support the development of regulatory compliance consulting strategies for various industries.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- An overall GPA of at least 3.0, with a preference for a 3.5 GPA.
- Meet educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment before starting full-time.
