About the role#
We are looking for students to join our team as Field Engineering Interns. You will work on-site with project teams to support construction operations. This role offers a chance to gain hands-on experience in the field, learn about our quality standards, and develop professional skills. You will be assigned a mentor to discuss your weekly progress and project experiences.
What you'll do#
- Support the Field Engineer, Project Manager, or Field Superintendent.
- Assist with project layout using Trimble tools.
- Interpret engineering drawings and provide support on-site.
- Help with material take-offs and estimating.
- Review project drawings and coordinate design changes.
- Assist with project coordination and safety requirements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 4-year Engineering or Construction Management program.
- Ability to solve problems independently.
- Strong work ethic and a desire to take on new challenges.
- Ability to work well both alone and as part of a team.
- Capacity to execute tasks under time constraints.
- Ability to perform physical tasks like standing, walking, and lifting at least 50 pounds.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments, including loud or confined spaces, while wearing required safety gear.

- Location: Indianapolis, Indiana.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday.
- Terms: Paid internship with a rolling start date.
