    About the role#

    RBC Bearings is hiring for an Engineering and Product Management Co-Op. This role provides hands-on experience in aviation and aerospace component manufacturing. You will work on-site in Simpsonville, South Carolina, during the Summer 2026, Fall 2027, or Winter 2027 terms.

    What you'll do#

    • Build product knowledge through hands-on training and visits to our manufacturing facilities.
    • Assist with product development projects across all product groups.
    • Provide product selection and installation support while finding solutions to customer issues.
    • Collaborate with engineers on projects suited to your skill level.
    • Partner with application engineers to monitor product performance.
    • Engage in Lean continuous improvement projects for engineering processes and product design.
    • Present to individuals and small groups.
    • Travel for meetings, conferences, or customer visits.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering at an accredited US university.
    • Authorization to work for Dodge Industrial in the US.
    • Analytical skills including root cause analysis, critical thinking, and problem solving.
    • Familiarity with MS Office and SolidWorks.
    • Ability to adapt to changing departmental needs.
    • Ability to lift and pull up to 50 pounds.
    • Capability to work on-site, including extended periods of sitting and intermittent standing or walking.
