About the role#
Richardson Pioneer is looking for Agribusiness Students to join our team for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site at our Ag Business Centres in Alberta. You will support the daily operations of our centres while gaining hands-on experience in the agriculture industry.
What you'll do#
- Assist with crop input retail activities.
- Scout crops for weeds, insects, and disease.
- Perform soil and tissue testing.
- Help with the purchase, storage, and shipping of grain.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
- Provide customer service to our farm clients.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in or graduation from an Agriculture degree or diploma program, specifically focusing on Agronomy, Plant Science, or Soil Science.
- A strong interest in and knowledge of agriculture.
- A valid driver's licence.
- A self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented approach to your work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- An agriculture background is helpful but not required.

This role is located at our Ag Business Centres in Lavoy, Strathmore, Nobleford, Morinville, Lamont, Fairview, Rycroft, Stirling, Dunmore, Vermilion, and Oyen, Alberta. Please indicate your preferred location on your resume.
