    About the role#

    This summer internship offers hands-on experience in retail sales, agronomy, operations, and grain handling. You will work alongside our teams to gain exposure to the daily functions of an agricultural retail facility. This role serves as a point of entry for your career in the industry.

    What you'll do#

    • Identify weeds, crop diseases, plant populations, insect problems, nutrient deficiencies, and soil issues.
    • Plan and execute customer events and assist with customer demonstration trials.
    • Assist with grain elevator operations, including loading and unloading rail cars and moving grain.
    • Receive and ship crop input merchandise and provide product recommendations to customers.

    What you'll need#

    • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or diploma from an accredited program with a graduation date between December 2027 and August 2029.
    • Ability to complete a 16-week internship from May to August 2027.
    • A valid Canadian driver’s licence in good standing.
    • Legal entitlement to work for Cargill in Canada.
    • Ability to work in outdoor environmental conditions, including exposure to sun, wind, rain, pollen, dust, and insects.
