About the role#
As a Marketing Innovation Intern, you will join the innovation team to plan, manage, and execute marketing launches. You will take ownership of specific project components or manage smaller-scale innovation projects while partnering with the Senior Innovation Manager. This role is a full-time, paid internship for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Manage and execute projects that support short and long-term objectives, including reformulations and packaging changes.
- Lead cross-functional teams to drive projects through the commercialization process.
- Monitor volume and profitability targets by tracking competitive activity and issuing monthly performance reports.
- Provide recommendations to capture growth opportunities or address market threats.
- Support the development of the Long Term Plan through data analysis.
- Track and manage marketing spend within the established budget.
- Build relationships with internal teams and external partners, including agencies and suppliers.
- Collaborate with Sales to develop and validate in-store executions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program for Marketing or Business Administration.
- Strong analytical skills and a focus on reporting accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong initiative and the ability to influence others.
- Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to anticipate problems before they arise.
- Solid grasp of marketing and business fundamentals.
- CPG experience is preferred.
- French language skills are an asset.
Location & details#
- Location: Ontario, Canada.
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Compensation: $21.00 - $22.50 per hour plus 8% vacation pay.
