    About the role#

    This internship program focuses on the grain trade. You will build relationships with internal and external customers to buy, move, and sell grain and related products. You will gain experience in economics, risk assessment, and decision-making while working within our animal nutrition and health business.

    What you'll do#

    • Develop and maintain relationships with country elevators, producers, feed mills, and processors.
    • Analyze supply and demand, survey market conditions, and track economic forces to support our market position.
    • Initiate and negotiate terms for commodity purchase and sale contracts, including price, quality, quantity, and logistics.
    • Coordinate transportation to execute contracts and ensure accurate closure.
    • Complete and present a project focused on work processes, customer interaction, or market improvement.

    What you'll need#

    • Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited program with a graduation date between December 2027 and August 2028.
    • Majors in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or Agriculture.
    • Right to work in the U.S. without reliance on a student visa.
    • Ability to complete a 12-week internship during the summer of 2027.
    • Strong analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

    • Term: Summer 2027 (12 weeks).
