About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience in sales, risk management, and grain origination. You will work with grain producers both over the phone and on the farm to help them connect with markets. The role involves applying classroom knowledge to real business projects while working alongside Strategic Farm Representatives and Grain Origination Merchants.
What you'll do#
- Assist team members in identifying and developing solutions and services for customers.
- Work directly with grain producers to support regional origination objectives.
- Complete business projects within the sales and origination function.
- Apply your academic knowledge to a professional agricultural environment.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program, graduating between December 2027 and August 2028.
- A valid driver’s license in the United States.
- Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time.
- Right to work in the U.S. without reliance on a student visa or third-party sponsorship.
- High initiative and resourcefulness when working with limited guidance.
- Preferred: A major in Agriculture or a related field.
