About the role#
The China Affairs & Strategy department provides strategic insight and operational support to Richemont and its Maisons. We act as an intelligence desk and maintain relationships with official Chinese partners. We are looking for an intern to assist with business operations and market research.
What you'll do#
- Provide analytical insights on the macro-economy and consumer market.
- Monitor domestic and overseas markets for information regarding Chinese travelers and local communities.
- Create presentation materials to share research findings.
- Help plan, execute, and follow up on business operation projects.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing business partners and Richemont Maisons.
- Identify and contact prospective business partners for our Maisons.
What you'll need#
- 1-2 years of work experience in market research, project management, or business development.
- A strong understanding of geopolitics, macro and micro-economics, and the luxury industry.
- Strong analytical skills for research and editorial tasks.
- Fluency in both English and Chinese is required. Proficiency in French is a plus.
- Prior experience working in the luxury sector or with high-net-worth audiences is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.

- This is an on-site, paid, full-time internship with a rolling term.
