About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to gain industry insights and financial acumen within the senior living sector. You will work with the Senior Living Services Consulting Group to help providers meet compliance obligations and identify financial opportunities. This position is designed for students interested in applying accounting skills to healthcare consulting.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the preparation of Medicare and Medicaid cost reports.
- Analyze financial transactions.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for efficiencies.
- Network with peers and team members at all levels.
- Participate in team building exercises and community outreach activities.
- Engage in continuous learning and leadership development workshops.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- A desire to pursue the CPA designation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and technical skills.
- Ability to problem-solve and prioritize work under pressure.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

- Term: Fall 2027.
- Locations: Lancaster, PA and Reading, PA.
- Modality: On-site.
- Status: Full-time and paid.
- Note: This role may require travel to other office locations, including potential overnight travel, and the ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed.
