About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Fall 2026. You will join the CAE group in Livonia, Michigan, to support various engineering programs. The role involves working with a team to analyze structures and gain hands-on experience in a professional engineering environment.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with engineers to analyze a range of structures.
- Use analysis software to build and evaluate finite element models.
- Support projects across the automotive, aerospace, and theme park entertainment industries.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Minimum sophomore standing at an accredited college or university.
- Strong academic background in Solid Mechanics, Finite Element Analysis, and Numerical methods.
- Proficiency with MS Office.
- A desire to apply analytical techniques to mechanical engineering problems.
