About the role#
RubinBrown LLP is hiring a Tax Intern for the Winter and Spring of 2028. This full-time internship introduces students to public accounting through hands-on experience. You will work alongside team members for at least eight weeks. Each intern receives an orientation and is paired with a Career Advocate to help set professional goals. You will use the firm's accounting and tax technology networks throughout the term.
What you'll do#
- Communicate directly with clients and firm staff.
- Perform client work both in the office and at client sites.
- Assist with compliance tasks for Federal, State, Local, and Wealth-Management tax areas.
- Analyze internal controls.
- Create and maintain workpaper documentation for client engagements.
What you'll need#
- Junior or Senior academic standing.
- Completion of introductory accounting courses.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Prior completion of an Auditing or Tax class is preferred.
