About the role#
As a Project Engineer Intern, you will assist the project team in completing designated projects. You will focus on learning construction industry processes, procedures, and business policies while working full-time.
What you'll do#
- Gain a working understanding of budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, and change orders.
- Develop a first-hand understanding of job-site coordination, scheduling, quality control, and safety.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering, management, or a closely related field. You should be within 18 months of graduating.
- You can work 40 hours a week for at least a three-month term.
- You have general knowledge of estimating techniques and cost control methods.
- You can perform mathematical calculations.
- You have the ability to read and understand contracts, specifications, and architectural and engineering drawings.
- You communicate clearly in writing and orally.

- Locations: South Bend, Indiana; Chicago, Illinois; Westmont, Illinois; Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $20 to $25 per hour.
- Status: Paid, full-time, rolling term.
