About the role#
As a Field Engineer Intern, you will work directly on job sites to support our superintendents. This role provides hands-on experience with the daily operations of commercial real estate projects. You will gain a practical understanding of how a construction site functions, from initial coordination to final quality control.
What you'll do#
- Assist superintendents with their daily responsibilities.
- Help manage the flow of project documents and schedules.
- Support the team with safety protocols and quality control activities.
- Develop a working knowledge of job-site coordination.
- Handle various project-specific tasks as they arise.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely-related field.
- You are within 18 months of graduating with your four-year degree.
- You can commit to working 40 hours per week for a minimum term of three months.
- You have the ability to read and interpret contracts, specifications, and technical drawings.
- You possess clear written and oral communication skills.
Location & details#
This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship. We are hiring for locations in Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; Minneapolis, MN; Chicago, IL; Austin, TX; and Atlanta, GA. This position is offered on a rolling basis.
