About the role#
Saint Mary's College is hiring an Intramural Rec Coordinator for the 2026-2027 academic year. This is an on-site, paid student position. You will support various tournaments and games throughout the school year, including basketball, sand volleyball, tennis, dodgeball, and indoor soccer.
What you'll do#
- Learn game rules and regulate matches to keep play safe.
- Handle pre-game set-up and post-game tear-down, such as managing gym curtains, volleyball nets, and equipment storage.
- Keep time and score for games and record results after each match.
- Track attendance at events.
- Monitor equipment and report any items that are missing or damaged.
- Assist with program building for new student events.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a Saint Mary's student.
- Knowledge of various sports is helpful.
- Prior experience in sports or athletics is preferred.
- Priority is given to students with Federal Work Study eligibility.

- Location: Notre Dame, Indiana.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Schedule: Events primarily occur on weekdays, including Fridays, with some potential for evening or weekend work based on availability.
