About the role#
The Office of Student Involvement is hiring a Student Center Desk Worker to serve as the first point of contact for the campus community. You will greet students and guests while maintaining a professional presence in the Student Center Atrium.
What you'll do#
- Provide a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
- Communicate clearly with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Stay informed about current campus events and programming to assist guests.
- Work independently and take initiative on daily tasks.
- Handle emergency situations as they arise.
What you'll need#
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A professional image, as this role involves frequent contact with the college community.
- General knowledge of Saint Mary's College.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with diverse groups of people.
Location & details#
- Location: Notre Dame, Indiana (On-site).
- Schedule: Standard office hours between 8am and 5pm, Monday through Friday.
- Eligibility: This position is open to Saint Mary's College students only.
- Term: Rolling.
